In 2006, the American Blake Mycoskie was travelling through Argentina realising that the children there had no shoes to protect their feet. Since he wanted to help, he founded TOMS - a company that, with every pair purchased, gives a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One. The shoes are produced in three different countries and given to children in need in more than 20 countries, e.g. Zambia, Swaziland, Cambodia or Mongolia. More than one million pairs of new shoes have been given to children in need with the aid of TOMS customers and Blake Mycoskie's employees are, with good reason, very proud of it. The Classics is, as its name implies, very classic and is partly made of recycled materials. The minimalist layered design gives this vegan shoe the distinct look typical for TOMS. The heel is reinforced and has a TOMS logo patch. In our opinion, the TOMS shoes are really beautiful and also the company's concept behind the shoes is fascinating. Super!
