Returns policy

Consumers have a right of return in accordance with the following provisions. A consumer is deemed to be any individual who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to his or her commercial or self-employed activities.

Instructions on the Right of Return

Right of return

You have the right to return the goods, without stating reasons, within one (1) month, by sending the goods back. This one-month period commences when you receive these instructions in text form (e.g. as a letter, fax or e-mail), not however before the goods have been received by the recipient (in the case of recurring deliveries of goods which are of similar nature not before receipt of the first delivery instalment) and not before we have fulfilled our disclosure obligations pursuant to Article 246 section 2 in conjunction with section 1 (1) and (2) of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code ("EGBGB") and our obligations pursuant to section 312e (1) sentence (1) of the German Civil Code ("BGB") in conjunction with Article 246 section 3 EGBGB. Only where the goods are not capable of being sent as a parcel (e.g. bulky goods) may you exercise your right of return by requesting, in text form, that the goods be taken back ("return request"). Timely dispatch of the goods or the return request will suffice for compliance with the time limit. In any case, the return will be at our cost and risk. Legal effects of return

In the event of a valid return, both parties shall restore what has been received in performance of the contract and surrender any benefits derived (such as benefits arising from use). Any deterioration of the goods will give rise to a right of compensation. This does not apply if the deterioration of the goods is only the result of their examination in a similar fashion as would have been possible for you in a sales outlet. You are not required to provide compensation for any deterioration caused by putting the goods to their intended use. Any obligation to refund payments made must be fulfilled within 30 days. For you, this time limit commences upon sending the goods back or placing the return request; for us however, it commences upon receipt.

Exclusion of right of return

The right of return does not apply:

1. to distance selling contracts for the delivery of audio or video recordings or software, once you have removed the seals from the data carriers supplied; and
2. distance selling contracts for the delivery of newspapers, magazines and similar publications, unless you have made your contractual commitment by telephone.

General remarks

1. Please ensure that the goods are neither damaged nor soiled. If at all possible, please send the goods back to us in their original packaging, including all accessories and all packaging components. Please use protective external packaging if necessary. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure that the goods are appropriately packed to avoid damage during transport.

2. If at all possible, use our return management process when returning goods. We will provide you with a prepaid parcel label. Any and all information regarding the return process can be found on If you do not wish to use this service, please do not return the goods to us postage unpaid. We are more than happy to reimburse any postage costs in advance.

3. Note that the above Nos. 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the valid exercise of the right of return.
